Summary

As the King's chosen protector, Marcus is sent to the small town of Reginhart, to protect its people from the demon-riddled Tier Naug. Unable to control the bloodlust of Tiecus, Marcus's demon half, Marcus almost killed a village girl, Platt.
The villagers waged war against him and Marcus was ready to fight till the end but Platt agrees to stay with him in his home to save the lives of the villagers from Tiecus' fury.
Feelings fly and emotions spark as Marcus, Asmara, and Tiecus start to relish in the warmth their little doe, Platt, brought to their cold within. The love of one woman might be all needed to end the chaos between all three beings and bring forth peace. Did she flee with her prince charming amid the war going on in the village, or did this beauty fall for her beast?
Review
The mother-daughter duo of Penn Scripter I applaud for their amazing work. They were able to paint a vivid picture in my mind of the happenings easily. I understood every battle Marcus fought, both against the internal turmoil within him and the external forces threatening the village he was bound to protect.
I enjoyed how the author created a fantasy world romance free of all human rules. Like the author's 'three times a lie and you die' principle, and how the villagers didn't try to kill what they didn't understand. Specifically, I first liked how the author could give each character their individual speaking voice. Then talk about the humorous and contrasting personalities of the two devils on Marcus' shoulder!
This story was properly edited with good diction, diverse word picking, and relatable reactions that made this an enchanting love story.
The only aspect I found weird is that around the time Platt was to wed Marcus, I started wondering what Marcus' purpose was. Whether it is to find love or defeat the Tier Naugs. It was like the author just moved with the flow of the story and they did not properly state what Marcus' specific goal was.
Nevertheless, either one worked just fine and that will not affect my rating. The rating of this book I decided from the beginning of the story. 4.5 out of 5 stars I give to the book.
As I recommend 'The Demon of Reginhart' to mature readers, it is essential to note that while the book does not contain explicit sexual content, it delves into R-rated activities and employs sexual innuendos that warrant caution.
